Conversations on chatbots

A new world is emerging; one in which humans communicate with computers through natural language. This is in particular seen in the field of chatbots, that is, machine agents serving as natural language user interfaces to data and service providers on the Internet.

To strengthen chatbot research and design, CONVERSATIONS 2017 is a multi-disciplinary workshop for learning and sharing among researchers and practitioners. The workshop is arranged in conjunction with the 4th International Conference on Internet Science – INSCI 2017.

We have an exiting program with an industry keynote from Baresquare and eight papers reporting on cases, theory, and empirical research in the field of chatbots. You find the keynote presentation and all presented papers in the workshop program.

All participants will be involved in discussing the presented work and future directions for chatbot reseach and design.

The workshop is open for all interested researchers and practitioners. Participation is free of charge. Go to registration.

CONVERSATIONS 2017 is arranged in collaboration with UX Gemini CentreCentre for Research on Media Innovations, CERTH Information Technology Institute, SINTEF and CAIR – Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research.
